Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of consulting services ("Services") by SJM Economics ("Consultant") to its clients ("Client"). By engaging our Services, the Client agrees to be bound by this Agreement. If the Client does not agree with these terms, the Client should not engage the Consultant’s services.

Scope of Services

The Consultant will provide economic, financial planning, investment management, and business growth advisory services as outlined in the Client's service agreement or project proposal. Any additional services requested will require separate agreements or amendments to the current contract.

Fees and Payments

Fees for the Consultant’s services will be outlined in the proposal or service agreement. Payments are due upon receipt of the invoice unless otherwise specified. Late payments may incur a 10% interest charge per month, and the Consultant reserves the right to suspend services until full payment is made.

Confidentiality

The Consultant agrees to keep all confidential information disclosed by the Client private and not to disclose such information to third parties without the Client's written consent, except where required by law. This includes any financial, personal, or proprietary information shared during the consulting engagement.

Client Responsabilities

The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information necessary for the Consultant to perform the services. The Client understands that failure to provide timely and accurate information may affect the quality and outcome of the services provided.

Limitation of Liability

The Consultant will provide advice and recommendations based on expertise and best practices. However, the Consultant shall not be held liable for any financial losses, damages, or negative outcomes resulting from the implementation of this advice. The Client assumes full responsibility for all decisions and actions taken based on the Consultant’s recommendations.

Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing [number] days' written notice. Upon termination, the Client will be responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the date of termination. The Consultant reserves the right to terminate the Agreement immediately in cases of non-payment or breach of contract by the Client.

Intellectual Property

Any reports, analyses, or documents created by the Consultant in the course of providing the services are the intellectual property of the Consultant until all fees have been paid. After payment, the Client may use the deliverables for their own business purposes but may not sell or redistribute them without permission.

Amendments

The Consultant reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the Consultant’s services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Consultant and the Client regarding the Services and supersedes all prior discussions, agreements, or understandings of any kind.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any disputes arising under this Agreement, both parties agree to first attempt mediation before pursuing litigation.

By engaging in our Services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
